50 Years in the Making
In the summer of 1975, Tim Sr. and Maryanne opened Tim’s in Mid-City, New Orleans. What began as a small, 2-bay shop has since grown into the state-of-the-art 10-bay shop we are in today. While the shop has moved a couple of times in its past the business has always been based on the foundation of caring for people. Tim’s started as a Volkswagen and European specialty shop because that is what the people of New Orleans needed in the 70’s. We would care for vehicles that other shops would not service.
For 50 years, Tim’s has maintained its values of treating people well and keeping people safe and has evolved into the service destination repair facility it is today. We are proud to have a long history of helping the people of Greater New Orleans travel safely. Nick and Tim Jr. carry on their family’s legacy by training their team to pay attention to details and provide excellent service. They put their hearts into what they do so that you can experience the Tim’s difference.
While the team has changed over the years the belief systems have not. Keeping our clients and team safe, paying attention to every detail, and treating everyone like family is passed down from team member to team member and from generation to generation.
