How to tell if your Tesla Needs Service

While Tesla’s are marvels of modern technology they still break. Here are some common signs that your Tesla needs repair:

Noise over bumps. If you hear a clunk or feel a shift when driving over bumps that is a sign that your Tesla may be having a suspension problem that needs attention.

Shake or vibration on acceleration. If you feel a shake or vibration while accelerating you are probably experiencing a driveline failure that needs to be addressed.

Grinding or squeal noise when braking. If you notice your Tesla making a grinding or squeal noise when decelerating you may be experiencing a brake or drive line problem that needs attention.

Does not feel like vehicle handles like it used too. If your Tesla has started to feel spongy or soupy over bumps or while turning that is a sign that you may be having a suspension wear problem or a tire problem.

Warnings on display. If your Tesla is showing a warning on the multi function display that is a great sign that you are in need of repair. Whether it is one of your cameras, a tire pressure problem, a problem with one of the doors, trunk or frunk, your climate control system, traction control system, or high voltage system if it is monitored and malfunctioning your Tesla will give you a warning.
